2019 "Karukera"

H80 x L80 cm

H85 x L85 cm (Black American box frame)

Acrylic on canvas - Original unique work

It was during a trip to the West Indies that the artist discovered the island of Guadeloupe, or rather Karukera by its Indian name. The Caribbean Sea and this land of a thousand colors inspired him in his creation. From a figurative point of view, we can see the profile of a West Indian woman, but also two animals very present on the island, a toucan and an iguana.
